Lovells has scooped the general counsel of hotel group Accor to boost its Paris corporate practice.
Pierre Todorov, who has been with Accor since 1997, will take up his new role at the beginning of June. As Accor is a Lovells client, Todorov has worked closely with the firm in the past.
Todorov said of the move: "The key factors behind my choice of Lovells are an excellent personal fit with the existing team and the firm's commitment to a full-service offering in Paris and the other major world business centres. I know from experience that few firms have such a well-integrated practice with the collegiate ethos that allows cross-selling throughout the network."
Prior to joining Accor Todorov held a number of executive positions at media and ;technology ;group Lagardère.
A ;spokeswoman ;for Accor said a replacement for Todorov would be named in the coming weeks.
