But can someone collect figures for number of fee earners “managed out” or kicked out during probationary periods as well ? I wonder how well all of these firms fair in that respect. I have two friends who are great lawyers, both have recently moved jobs (one friend to one of the firms mentioned above), and soon found themselves out of a job due to “performance reasons” during their probationary periods. It was rubbish – they were excellent lawyers. When will there be a bit more honesty in the statistics?
