Lovells' Dubai office has made a new hire and announced its intention to push the practice over the 20-lawyer mark in the next few months. Lovells London-based corporate partner Tom Brassington will join global Islamic finance head Rahail Ali and his four-partner team in Dubai next month - four weeks after the office launched on 1 May, as revealed by The Lawyer (26 March). Ali, who joined from Denton Wilde Sapte (DWS) with the rest of his team, said: "We've been very busy since we launched and are currently working on some very interesting mandates. We'll definitely continue recruiting." Ali's team from DWS has been joined by 15 new fee-earners since the office launched.
