Lovells has added a partner to its London banking practice, hiring Linklaters associate Shelley Mottershead.
Mottershead is due to take up the position on 1 May having spent 12 years with Linklaters, most recently as a senior managing associate in the firm's banking practice.
She joined Linklaters as a trainee in 1995 and has focused on leveraged finance, syndicated lending, private M&A, P2Ps, restructurings, structured investments and trade finance.
During her time at Linklaters, Mottershead was seconded to Barclays Capital, on its global loans legal team and leveraged finance legal/transaction management team.
Her non fee-earning work has included participating in the graduate recruitment programme, secondee liaison, internal training and client seminars.
