Lovell White Durrant's merger partner, Boesebeck Droste, has lost four M&A tax partners from its Munich office who are opening a new office in the Bavarian capital for Bruckhaus Westrick Heller Lober.
Rolf Fuger, Norbert Rieger, Stephan Salzmann and Bernhard Heiss are opening Bruckhaus' new Munich office on January 1.
The new office will have a legal team of at least 12 lawyers and will focus on mergers & acquisitions, private equity, tax and information technology.
Four partners and four associates will move over from other Bruckhaus offices.
Peter Nussbaum, an M&A and private equity partner who joins the new set-up from Bruckhaus' Hamburg office says: "Young entrepreneurs and financial services providers are especially attracted to Munich. Many private equity and venture capital firms have encouraged us to establish a presence in Munich."
The Munich outfit will being Bruckhaus' office count to 14 in central and eastern Europe, America and Asia. The 350-lawyer firm represents both domestic and international clients on all manner of commercial issues.
