The way has been paved for the House of Lords to probe the insurance position of Kuwaiti-owned aircraft and equipment damaged during the Iraqi invasion of the country. The Kuwait government and the national airline, the Kuwait Airways Corporation, launched action against Kuwait Insurance after 15 aircraft, spares and equipment were damaged during the invasion.
