Lord Woolf is joining the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) as a special advisor.
The former Lord Chief Justice will also become chair of CEDR’s international Conflict Management Advisory Group, which launches this autumn, and he will join the panel of CEDR’s most senior dispute resolution experts.
In a statement CEDR said that Lord Woolf was "exceptionally placed" to advise on the integration of alternative dispute resolution systems, such as mediation and arbitration, into civil justice systems around the world.
