Lord Chancellor Lord Mackay is pictured at the launch of House of Lord transcripts on CD-ROM. HMSO Books has developed the CD-ROMs, which will contain one complete parliamentary session on each disc. Each disc can be searched by using a particular word or speech.

The system goes back to 1992/93 and costs between u350 and u500 for each disc, depending on which parliamentary session is covered.
