Herbert Smith has invited nine lawyers to join the partnership from 1 April, with the bulk of the promotions taking place in London.
The lawyers promoted to partner include Kevin Roy, Thiha Tun, John Geraghty and James Milne in Herbert Smith’s corporate team. Meanwhile, the firm has not made up any dispute resolution partners in London, instead, promoting Tokyo-based dispute resolution lawyer Dominic Roughton.
Other departments to gain new partners include finance, which has made up Malcolm Hitching and Alison Deeth. Meanwhile, the firm’s real estate and projects groups have promoted Matthew White and Rebecca Major respectively.
