Financial spread betting and contract for difference provider London Capital Group (LCG) has appointed a group legal counsel from Axiom Legal.
Martin Creek, who spent six years as a lawyer in Slaughter and May’s corporate practice before going in house, joins LCG from Axiom. At Axiom he was seconded to Castle Trust, UBS Investment Bank and Barclays Capital, among others.
Before joining Axiom in 2010, Creek had also served as a legal adviser to Consensus Business Group and a legal counsel at Barclays Bank, where he covered UK and cross-border corporate matters including public and private acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and general public company work.
