Blake Lapthorn has re-elected its senior partner Jonathan Lloyd-Jones for a further three-year term.
Lloyd-Jones made partner in 1990 in the firm’s litigation practice, where he specialises in construction, professional negligence and contract disputes.
He is based mostly in Blake Lapthorn’s Oxford office and first took the part-time senior partner post in 2005, having originally joined the firm in 1988.
The firm recently consolidated its Southampton offices into one location and rebranded from Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons – something Lloyd-Jones said had reinvigorated the firm.
Blake Lapthorn has made a number of redundancies in recent months, laying off 43 people due to its dependence on property work.
