Injuries: Plaintiff sustained deformity to right (dominant) arm comprising: soft tissue swelling, break in skin, deep contusion of underside of arm in forearm and mid-elbow; continuing muscle damage in forearm and over sensitivity of cutaneous nerve; stiffness in right shoulder attributed to adhesive capsulitis produced as result of protecting arm; scarring and discolouration of skin; 10-15 per cent loss of grip in right hand; accident said to have reduced her ability to cope with one of her children who is severely mentally handicapped
