Robert David Norman Lowe, 44, admitted 1981, practised as partner in Lester Aldridge of Bournemouth, struck off and ordered to pay £943. Allegations substantiated he had been jailed for seven months last year after pleading guilty at Bournemouth Crown Court to fraudulent evasion of prohibition or restriction on the importation of indecent and obscene material. Convictions followed seizure of 164 video cassettes, 362 magazines, 271 photographs, nine camcorder tapes and camcorder equipment by Dorset police, all said to be of a paedophile nature.

David Arthur Heath, 43, admitted 1984, practising at material times in partnership with Aslam Heath, London, fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £848 costs. Allegations substantiated he failed to comply with an adjudication of the Law Society's Adjudication and Appeals Committee.

Paul Bernard Sylvester, 50, admitted 1985, practising at material times as PB Sylvester & Co, London SE27, fined £500 and ordered to pay £608 costs. Allegations substantiated he failed to comply with directions of assistant director of Solicitors Complaints Bureau and failed to reply to letters.

Jennifer Anne Cummins, 45, admitted 1985, practised as Jennie Martin, Corby, struck off and ordered to pay £827 costs. Allegations substantiated she failed to deliver account-ant's report upon retirement from practice and improperly utilised client money for own purposes. Tribunal told investigation accountant found client account shortfall of £36,042.

Anthony Patrick Rees, 37, admitted 1986, practised in partnership in firm of Gordon Williams, Cardiff, struck off and ordered to pay £1,034 costs. Allegations substantiated he failed to keep properly written accounts, wrongly drew and used client money.
