Links loses corporate partner to S&W

Scottish-headquartered firm ;Shepherd ;and Wedderburn (S&W) has landed a major hire for its London office, with Linklaters corporate partner Steven Turnbull due to come on board in May.

Turnbull, who has spent 32 years with the magic circle firm, has advised clients such as ARM Holdings, Electra Private Equity, Flemings and Orange.

As ;well ;as ;taking ;a position within S&W's corporate practice, he will be responsible for developing knowledge management within the firm.

S&W chief executive Patrick ;Andrews ;said: "Steven has an outstanding reputation in the market as a corporate lawyer and will be of enormous help to us as we continue to grow our business in London."
