Linklaters scoops Community Mark

Linklaters has followed up its success in the Business in the Community (BitC) CSR [corporate social responsibility] Charter by becoming the first law firm to be awarded the Community Mark. Linklaters was one of nine organisations to be given the award, which is assessed by BitC and endorsed by the Prime Minister. The firm spends 0.5 per cent of its pre-tax profit on community schemes, such as the ‘Link Learning with Work’ programme, which sees staff visit 51 schools in Hackney to teach literacy and employability skills. DLA Piper, Eversheds and Linklaters were all given silver ratings in the BitC CSR charter last week.
