Linklaters NY brings in new blood for management role

Linklaters is ushering in a new era for its New York practice after changing the head of the office for the second time in just over a year.

Paul Wickes, a litigation partner who joined the firm from Shearman & Sterling in July last year, will become head of the New York office and national managing partner from 1 July onwards.

He is taking over from Stephen Land who assumed the role early last year from highly-rated asset finance expert Marianne Rosenberg who moved to Thelen Reid & Priest in November 2003.

Tax partner Land will return to full-time fee-earning while continuing on the management committee of the New York office.
