Linklaters launches Madrid real estate practice

Linklaters has snatched former alliance partner Uria & Menendez’s most senior lawyer in London to create a new real estate department in its Madrid office.

Rafael Molina, who manages Uria’s London office, will head up Linklaters new real estate practice in Madrid. He will join Linklaters in London for a short time until he is ready to relocate to Madrid.

Molina is a senior associate at Uria and will join Linklaters in the same capacity although the magic circle firm is confident he will make partnership.

Uria will replace Molina with Madrid partner Juan Francisco Falcon who is moving to London permanently after Christmas.
