Linklaters has secured a leading private equity partner for its Paris office from Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
Michel Frieh will join Linklaters in September, working alongside private equity partners Alain Garnier and Fabrice de la Morandiere.
As first revealed by thelawyer.com/lawyernews (April 13), Frieh was known to be leaving Willkie Farr’s highly-rated Parisian office. His move to Linklaters, where he will help develop the practice with his new partners, is a boost to the magic circle firm which last year lost star partner David Aknin to Weil Gotshal & Manges.
