Linklaters continued its hiring spree today with Italian lawyer Giovanni Pedersoli and Claudia Parzani joining the firm's Milan office.
Pedersoli leaves Pedersoli e Associati and Parzani is leaving Camozzi Bonissoni Varrenti e Associati to join the magic circle firm's partnership. Giovanni Pedersoli is the younger brother of founding Pedersoli partners Carlo and Antonio Pedersoli.
The two appointments help strengthen Linklaters’ Italian corporate and finance practice areas, including M&A, cross-border acquisitions and private equity.
The news comes weeks after the firm announced that former Pedersoli partner Andrea Arosio would assume the role of co-managing partner for Italy.
Sarosh Mewawalla, co-managing partner of Linklaters' Italian practice, said that the hires were "another step towards establishing Linklaters as a leading law firm in the Italian finance and corporate sector".
Mewawalla added: "We’ve been very careful about our recruitment in the Italian market and have found in Giovanni Pedersoli and Claudia Parzani two leading practitioners in the market who share our values and have a commitment to providing the highest levels of service to clients."
