Linklaters has appointed Jeff Norton and Conrado Tenaglia as co-managing partners for the US, succeeding Larry Byrne and Nick Rees in the roles after they completed a four-year term.
Norton is co-head of the magic circle firm’s US banking practice, while Tenaglia recently relocated to New York having completed a spell as co-managing partner in Spain earlier this year.
Linklaters Americas managing partner John Turnbull said in a statement: “We are pleased to name Jeff and Conrado as co-managing partners for the US. Jeff has distinguished himself as a proven leader within a complex practice area and an integral part of the New York office, and Conrado’s global management expertise and strategic vision will be an ideal fit for the region. I’m confident Jeff and Conrado will significantly build upon the important work that Larry and Nick have executed in establishing Linklaters’ strong presence in the US.”
Norton commented: “Linklaters’ New York office has made significant strides over the last few years, and I’m pleased to have the opportunity to build upon this. I am excited to work with Conrado as we execute a strategy designed to move Linklaters’ US practice into its next phase of growth and success.”
Tenaglia added: “Linklaters has a long history of driving collaboration across its offices around the world to provide leading insight and service for our clients. I look forward to continuing this tradition with Jeff and working with the well-respected team in New York to extend the firm’s strong track record in the US.”
