Stuart Salt, Linklaters’ London-based managing partner for emerging Europe, Middle East and North Africa, will take over as Asia managing partner next month.
Salt succeeds Zilli Shao, who is leaving to become chairman and CEO of JPMorgan’s Chinese business less than a year after becoming Asia chief. Salt previously headed the magic circle firm’s Asia banking and projects practice for three years. He said: “I’m really excited about my return to Asia and working with our team there in providing a first-class service to our Asian and global clients.”
