Linklaters announces new Asia chief

Salt succeeds Zilli Shao, who is leaving to become ­chairman and CEO of ­JPMorgan’s ­Chinese business less than a year after becoming Asia chief. Salt previously headed the magic circle firm’s Asia banking and projects ­practice for three years. He said: “I’m really excited about my return to Asia and working with our team there in providing a first-class service to our Asian and global clients.”
