Linde lands J&J general counsel

Leading German gas company Linde has appointed Johnson & Johnson assistant general counsel Christian Rau to replace outgoing legal head Nick Deeming. Rau will join the gas and engineering company as its chief legal officer at the beginning of July following an eight-year stint at Johnson & Johnson, during which time he held the head of legal role for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Deeming will stay on at Linde as a consultant until September after leaving his position as legal head at the end of the month.
