Lehman Brothers has hired General Electric (GE) senior lawyer Elizabeth Lee for the newly created role of managing director and general counsel for Europe. Lee spent 11 years at GE and was global general counsel in the consumer finance division at the time of her departure. She will be responsible for Lehman's European corporate advisory division and will report to the chief legal officer for Europe and Asia Peter Sherratt. Lehman's corporate advisory team employs 160 staff.
