Legance raids Gianni for Italy start-up

Legance has launched in Italy with 17 partners formerly from Gianni Origoni Grippo & Partners, including managing partner Giovanni Nardulli.

Legance's executive committee will include former Gianni executive members Alberto Giampieri, Filippo Troisi and Bruno Bartocci.

The firm has offices in Milan and Rome. It follows an internal dispute at Gianni over the culture and future strategy of the firm.

Franco Gianni will retain his senior partner position and has appointed Rome corporate partner Tomaso Cenci as managing partner.
