The Legal Ombudsman has marked the opening of its new Birmingham office with the announcement of a recruitment drive that will see 300 new staff join the newly formed independent public body.
The body, led by Chief Ombudsman Adam Sampson and based at Baskerville House, will investigate and resolve complaints made by legal services consumers.
It will begin to accept complaints before the end of 2010. Sampson said: “I’m sure there’s a huge talent pool in and around Birmingham who have the skills we need to make the Legal Ombudsman a success.”
