LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae has raided Chadbourne & Parke, poaching a London-based project finance team led by Nabil Khodadad.
Khodadad, who has been a partner at Chadbourne for seven years, joins LeBoeuf this week along with his team of two associates. Khodadad's hire takes the total number of partners in the London office to 35.
LeBoeuf managing partner Peter Sharp said: "Nabil is very compatible with our firm and our projects group. There's a lot of synergy with the group and we're certainly looking forward to his arrival."
Sharp added that Khodadad has extensive experience in the Middle East and Russia and has an impressive client list.
Khodadad's CV includes advising the Newmont Mining Corporation on the financing of the Ahafo gold mining project in Ghana and HoodOil on the development and financing of the Ras Issa refinery in Yemen.
Sharp said: "The team at LeBoeuf is thriving and we're excited about how Nabil will be able to contribute to the success even further."
Chadbourne & Parke is left with five partners and seven associates practising project finance in London.
