LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae has poached Vinson & Elkins energy partner Dirk Walker to beef up its Beijing presence.
Walker, who has experience in M&A, project finance and infrastructure development work, has a particular focus on oil and gas work in emerging markets.
His addition boosts LeBoeuf’s Beijing partner headcount to two, with Walker working alongside corporate partner Ingrid Zhu-Clark.
Before joining LeBoeuf, Walker was a partner in Vinson & Elkins’s Texas office, having been co-head of the firm’s Moscow office between 2004 and 2006. Prior to that he was co-head of the Singapore office from 2001 to 2004. Walker joined Vinson & Elkins in 1992, becoming partner in 2001.
