Californian intellectual property firm Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear has elected a new managing partner.
Steve Nataupsky, who has been a partner at the firm since 1996, took over the position this month. Nataupsky succeeds Jim Bear, who has managed the firm from 1974 and retired at the end of last year.
The two lawyers have had a transition period of 18 months co-managing the firm.
Founded in 1962, six-office Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear 190 lawyers and is headquartered in Irvine, California. Its other offices are in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Riverside and San Luis Obispo.
