The Lawyer Global Litigation Top 50 report is the only ranking of international law firms by litigation and arbitration revenue and is essential reading for anyone seeking to benchmark their litigation and dispute resolution practices...
This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
It’s a good job Pinsent Masons’ head of sport Trevor Watkins is not a Team GB athlete.
Our Olympians appear to have mastered the art of noble failure so far at the games, with just a single rowing victory and not even one controversial outburst so far.
But in the equally entertaining Court of Arbritation for Sport (CAS) the Pinsents partner has managed both, proving there’s more action in the courtrooms at the moment than the British medal cabinet.
After a marathon run of CAS hearings for his client, excluded South African eventer Alexander Peternell, Watkins slammed the South African sporting authorities for a “flagrant disregard for due process”, calling the “extraordinary case”, “frustrating” and “bitterly disappointing”. And he won! (see blog).
Take note, Wiggins, Murray, Giggs, Ennis. Forget the platitudes and honour in defeat.
Take a lead from our sleep-deprived lawyers and give us victory….and passionate outbursts.
