You are doing yourselves no favours, nor any favour to those of us who voted for solicitors to have the option of going to the open market, in the headline stating that "70 per cent vote to scrap SIF" (The Lawyer, 10 May). That was not the proposition put: it was simply that there should be freedom of choice. Or am I wrong? I strongly agree that there should be such freedom, but such headline gives every opportunity to those opposed to say that we are not appreciating the issues.
