Lawyer 2B is holding another careers event for promising A-Level students attending state sixth-form colleges who are interested in training as solicitors and barristers.
The two-day diversity event, now in its fourth year, will be hosted on 8 and 9 March at BPP Business School, situated next to the iconic Gherkin in London.
Chief executive of BPP Peter Crisp said: “We’re proud to be hosting the Lawyer 2B careers day once more, which is part of BPP’s commitment to diversity in the legal profession,”
“By giving A-level students valuable career advice and information, this event can really open their eyes to the opportunities available to them with a career in law.”
The Lawyer 2B careers day is aimed at ‘Gifted & Talented’ Year 12 A-level students and was last year attended by more than 250 students from around 30 schools and colleges.
Following last year’s event, a student from Leyton Sixth Form College, Iram Razzaq, said: “I’ve been really impressed with the day as I’ve learned so much about the City and what it means to be a lawyer,”
“Even coming into the City at rush hour and seeing all the business people has made me want to strive for my dreams too. This has shown me that it is possible and I can do it.”
