Lawrence Graham has completed the third in a trio of real estate deals for new client LaSalle UK Ventures, the £1bn private equity fund set up by LaSalle Investment Management last year.
Lawrence Graham won the mandate from LaSalle UK Venture managing director Charles Maudsley, who joined the business from Axa Real Estate Investment Managers (Axa Reim) last year, where he was a fund manager. Axa Reim is another Lawrence Graham client.
Lawrence Graham is the only firm to have been appointed by LaSalle UK Ventures. The team advising the new fund is being led by real estate partner Jon Lloyd.
Lloyd said: "This is an exciting new client for the firm. But it also continues our longstanding relationship with Charles Maudsley, who we've enjoyed working with for many years in his previous role at Axa. We're looking forward to more of the same."
The first of the deals was the £30.7m acquisition of Reading Bridge House in Reading from HSI Active Property Fund in January. Taylor Wessing represented HSI.
In the same month the fund purchased a site at Vale Park, Evesham, from Cirrus Properties and Barberry Developments, which is marked for redevelopment into an office and light-distribution centre with a projected end value of £65m.
