The Lawyer Global Litigation Top 50 report is the only ranking of international law firms by litigation and arbitration revenue and is essential reading for anyone seeking to benchmark their litigation and dispute resolution practices...
This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
An equal access event hosted by the UK Law Students’ Association will be held next month, featuring speakers such as Wilberforce Chambers’ Joanne Wicks QC and Law Society vice president Nick Fluck.
Equal Access: Demystifying the Legal Profession is designed to emphasise that a legal career is obtainable for talented students from all backgrounds.
It will also feature speakers including Supreme Court judge Lord Kerr of Tongahmore, Linklaters partner Sarah Wiggins and Blackstone Chambers’ Pushpinder Saini QC and Daniel Burgess.
UKLSA equalities director, Amy Carlse, said: “This is UKLSA’s second equal access event, which aims to dispel preconceptions students may have concerning a legal career.
“Equal Access: Demystifying the Legal Profession will bring together a number of esteemed legal speakers to discuss their own personal experiences and opinions on how the law has evolved into an open, well represented and meritorious profession that seeks to reward students who achieve high grades, irrespective of their background.”
The 8 March event is free and open to all undergraduate and postgraduate law students. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
