The Law Society is offering trainee solicitors a unique opportunity to spend six months in its Brussels office.
The secondment programme, now in its tenth year, will enable trainees to gain direct experience of working with EU institutions, and the possibility to participate in the legislative and political process.
Julia Bateman the head of the Law Society's Brussels office said: "This secondment offers a unique and exciting opportunity for trainee solicitors to experience the EU at first hand."
The trainees tasks will include preparing and writing European Court of Justice case reports as well as drafting legislative updates highlighting developments in the corporate client and private client areas.
Applications are no being accepted and the secondment will start next March. Trainees interested in applying for placement must obtain permission from their law firm.
