The Law Society of Scotland has put its Edinburgh offices up for sale.
• The Law Society of Scotland has put its Edinburgh offices up for sale. The premises, at 25-27 Drumsheugh Gardens, a building dating from the mid-1870s, were deemed unsuitable for the society's needs. Deputy chief executive Henry Robson said: "Drumsheugh Gardens has been home to the society since 1969 and is a great location. It's now time for the society to move to more modern premises which better suit the current needs of the organisation. I hope to announce our new location in the near future." The building has previously been occupied by HM Commissioners of Works, the Forestry Commission and by a US officers' club during World War I.
