Law Society hitches a ride to Romania

The LAW Society 'bookbus' will leave the UK this week on a teaching tour of Romania.

The trip, organised by the society and the Trainee Solicitors' Group (TSG), will include presentations on English language legal terminology and discussions on related matters of law.

The 12 participants, including TSG chair Fiona Boyle and Young Solicitors' Group chair Andy Unger, will also provide workshops on negotiation.

The group will meet representatives of the British Embassy and the Bucharest Bar Association and present at least 100 law books worth over u2,000 donated by Butterworths and Sweet & Maxwell to the law faculty in Bucharest.
