  • Naming and shaming is the only effective weapon available to the average person when it comes to complaining about solicitors.

If SFH gets taken down then we should all actively encourage those who posted on the site to create their own blogs and websites instead. So long as the info is true there shouldn't be a problem. However, what will almost certainly happen is that solicitors will threaten the hosting company with legal action instead and, sadly, they will almost certainly back down rather than face the hassle of going through the courts.

  • A profession who take clients cases when they know the client will be seeking damages against the lawyers insurers prove one fact, it is about money, lawyers are pushing injustice for financial gain. Lawyers know the client will never get to court, lawyers will take as much money as they can from the client, legal aid or both and kill off the clients claim.

They the client finds out about the scam, reports the lawyer to the SLCC or Law Society ahd hey presto, an automatic cover up. Lawyers do not provide justice for clients, the latter are abused for money.

I will tell you lawyers one thing you are educators alright, and we pass your brutal lessons to others to save them from an evil scourge called the Judiciary.

Lawyers have ruined too many people and now they want to kill off websites which expose the dangerous reality of trusting a lawyer. We are meant to live in a democracy with equal rights but try suing a lawyer, doctor, you will not get a lawyer to represent you.

The websites dear lawyers are you reaping what you have sown and you would rather shut the sites down than ruin lawyers careers. This is about injustice and legal dictatorship, victory to the dissident victims of legal criminals.

    Trust no lawyer.

  • SFH is a unreliable and doggy website! anyone can leave comments about any solicitors/barristers without leaving personal details! If the owner of SFH thinks he has great appeal then let him crack on with his appeal. It doesn't take over a year to put forward an appeal! you only have 14days from the date of the decision!! There is a way to put forward complaints, but solicitors from is not the correct way!

  • The Solicitors from hell website is an absolute disgrace. It will eventually be closed down and rightly so.

  • This website is fantastic and it will be a sad day for us all if the many corrupt solicitors and their colleagues in the Law Society manage to get their own way.
Good Luck to you, Rick Kordowski for exposing the professional criminals.

  • To all the supporters of the Mr Kordowski - do you not realise that he doesn't care less about your problems? Rather he is exploiting them to make a profit for himself (whatever the alleged misdemeanour, for a small fee payable from the solicitor in question to Mr Kordowski he will remove your comment from his site).
There is no doubt that the legal regulators are not fit for purpose, but do not think that Mr Kordowski is a hero of the common man - he is exploiting your misery for his own financial gain. If he donated the money he earned to free law centres or similar, then that perhaps he may be worthy of some praise.

  • I will be the first to admit that their is a sizeable minority of lawyers who should be investigated and named and shamed but honestly this website goes too far.
Professionals should not have to spend their time answering the often unsubstantiated claims seen in this glorified blog, much of it is defamation pure and simple.
The so called reviews it offers normally amount to "I think I should have got X but instead I got Z and now I'm mad about it" type remarks.
Simply put law firms will attract complaints, it deals with contentious issues and when you are in a combative system, people like to blame either their own lawyer or the other sides, rather than more often than not accepting the simple fact that the reason why things aren't going well for them, is that they themselves have done something unwise.
I have often had cases where my own client has kept vital information from me and then been upset when presented with that information by opposing council, I was unable to make anything but a general response. (happens all the time in Family Law) I am always left wondering what exactly these people wished me to do under these circumstances.
Also just as a general note, people should be aware that the law society is generally hated by most lawyers within Scotland. People say that we self regulate, but that is in word only. When a complaint is issued against a solicitor to the law society, they go after that person with a passion, often degenerating into a witch hunt. I would love to have a transparent organisation which regulates our profession, which I didn't have to fork out an annual fee too for the joy of being attacked by them if anyone every has a complaint about me.

  • In response to the posting submitted here on the 18-Jun-2011 6:06pm
In ALL successful court hearings, the court will be asked to make a costs order in accordance with the Legal Services Act 2007 with the costs being paid to the ‘Access to Justice Foundation’.

  • I have been getting strung along by a st Asaph solicitor for 3 years now.he has turned my case from me getting £2,000 to me being liable to £45,000 costs, while at all stages he keeps charging rediculous fees for losing all the time. All his ideas and advice just keeps getting me in a deeper hole. Good luck sfh my £1 will be along shortly.
