  • I think a proper complaints channel is good for the legal profession.
I hired some solicitors to advise on a legal structure for a biofuels plant.
The advice I got was awful. Had I followed it then the funding would have been unlawful. Fortunately the other side's solicitors came up with a solution which was lawful.
Now I've found the law firm I advised are using their excellent help for a Regional Research Body as an example of when they've been fantastic. They weren't, it's brazen lies and there's no outlet to correct this.

  • I left my last job because a colleague made up a series of lies about my performance. Fortunately I was able to find email evidence to demonstrate the claims were wholly false.
Although it happened nearly three years ago, I plan to go to the Law Society and report her for dishonesty.
Will she be struck off? Not in a month of Sundays. The Law Society don't act decisively. Therefore individuals like Kordowski fill the gap.
If the Law Society wants to stop this website - they should show they will strike off bad / dishonest solicitors.

  • Surely paying clients are entitled to receive the best advice and service from their lawyer, especially with the price they are/have paid for that. Firms should pride themselves on that and their reputation for doing so. Law firms are very quick to demand payment for their services yet slow to respond when that service falls short. If a lawyer feels they have been unfairly criticised on this website they should publish a reasoned response and attempt to settle the matter with their disgruntled client. Their aim should be to be on Solicitors from Heaven not resorting to action for defamation.

  • Sols from Hell website is fine as a concept, but this guy was using for extortion.
The better way would be to have a right to reply for firms, but he would have made little cash this way.

  • Ref SFH
If the Law society is allowed to get their way It will
make the Lawsociety dictators and also open a f lood
gate, after all this country is a democratic country , that
makes it lovely and unique, those solicitors are
capable to defend themseles, there are good ones
    and bad ones.
democatic country that makes it lovery and unique

  • I lost my home and everything that I had to a crook who was aided and abetted by solicitors in evading payment to myself for my works.
I had some details up on Ricks website and rather than have the public made aware of their wrongdoings, they paid Rick to remove the posting.
If my claims about them had been false, surely they would not have done this.
It is a fact of life that there are many lawyers of all ranks who are absolutely corrupt and when the interests of justice conflicts with the interests of lawyers then injustice is inevitable.

  • My entry was following a finding by the Law Society - Office for the Supervision of Solicitors, that the law firm had provided a poor service. The law firm was asked to pay me a compensation but the OSS itself expressed concern that the law firm refused to apologise for their poor handling of the purchase of my house. Would it be better if I emailed SolicitorsFromHell the letter from the Law Society and would it be preferable for the firm?

  • Law Society doesn't care. I told them about a tax firm operating off Oxford St without any kind of insurance / practising certificates etc.
They couldn't care less. They basically told me they didn't want to hear about problems.
Maybe it's time to put Rick Kordowski in charge of the Law Society?

  • I posted the truth on the website and I have received a letter from the solicitor threatening to expose my case (family matter). Well surely that is illegal.
In any case the solicitors are crooks as is the law in this country and those who regulate it.
If your not rich youve got no chance.
