Almost a month to the day, the Law Society threatened to take the Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA) to court for ignoring several calls to alter the Unified Contract to reflect the needs of law firms.

Alas, the Society of Asian Lawyers and the Black Solicitors Network have beaten the Law Society to it, suing both the DCA and Legal Services Commission.
