Simmons & Simmons announces employment partner appointments
Simmons & Simmons has expanded its international employment group with the double appointment of pensions partner Danny Tsang and employment incentives partner Ian Fraser in its London office.
Tsang joins from K&L Gates, where he is a partner and head of pensions in the London office. He has specialised in pensions law for nearly 20 years, advising both employers and trustees. Tsang has a particular focus on advising on plan restructuring and corporate pensions strategy, as well as on pensions aspects of corporate transactions, business recovery and restructuring.
Legal 500 UK 2012 ranks Tsang as a ‘leading individual’ and Chambers UK 2013 cites that he is ‘knowledgeable, keeps up-to-speed with current legislation, and is thorough and commercially sensitive’.
Fraser has also joined from K&L Gates, where he was head of employee incentives. He is an employee incentives expert with 15 years’ experience. Fraser advises on the legal, regulatory and tax implications of the design, drafting and operation of share incentive plans, manager equity arrangements and cash bonus plans for UK and international companies. He was previously a tax consultant at KPMG.
Fraser is recognised in Chambers UK 2013 as a strong specialist in ‘international employee incentives plans’.
