Hogan Lovells partner and client win 2013 Alliance Flex Success Award
Hogan Lovells has announced that the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance has awarded Eve Howard, a partner in the law firm’s Washington DC office, and Susan Herlick, senior vice-president, general counsel and secretary at long-time client Orbital Sciences, as an attorney-client team with one of only two Alliance Flex Success Awards for 2013.
The Flex Success Award recognises the important role clients play in making workplace flexibility a reality by honouring those attorney-client relationships that best exemplify how, with client support, lawyers can work reduced hours on flexible schedules, deliver excellent legal services and have successful careers.
Howard, a partner in the corporate practice group, has been with Hogan Lovells for nearly 25 years, 11 of which she has worked on a reduced-hours schedule.
In addition to serving as co-chair of both the Alternative Work Arrangements committee and the Recruitment committee, Howard serves as a trustee with leadership roles for two independent school boards. She has represented Orbital Sciences for more than 15 years.
