Chadbourne represents Geopark Holdings Limited in $300m US bond offering
Chadbourne & Parke has represented Geopark Holdings and its subsidiaries in the issuance by Geopark Latin America Limited Agencia en Chile of $300m of 7.50 per cent senior secure notes due 2020.
Geopark is an oil and gas exploration company listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. The Issuer is the Chilean branch of Geopark Latin America Limited, a Bermuda company wholly owned by Geopark.
The notes are guaranteed by Geopark and secured by a pledge of all of Geopark’s equity interests in Geopark Chile SA and Geopark Colombia SA and certain intercompany loans.
Proceeds from the issuance were used to repay existing debt of and to finance Geopark’s future expansion plans in Latin America. The offering closed on 11 February 2013.
