“I went to university abroad and having graduated with a Master of Laws degree, I was able to teach law at two local universities. I soon realised I did not want to pursue an academic career; I wanted to apply my knowledge of law to practice. At about the same time, I received an opportunity to study law in England, working as a commercial litigation paralegal at two City firms. This gave me an insight into the life of a solicitor in London and made me confident in my ambition to become one.”
