The Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner sets his eyes on the insurance industry

In November a guidance note was issued by the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, “Guidance on the Proper Handling of Customers’ Personal Data for the Insurance Industry”, to provide the insurance industry with practical guidance on how to comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance Cap. 486 when collecting and using personal data of customers.
