Supreme Court advocates good sport

In a case that will concern sporting fans and those working in data-sensitive industries, the Supreme Court has recently upheld a Court of Appeal decision requiring a ticket sales website to disclose to the Rugby Football Union details of people who had advertised or sold rugby match tickets through the site. The RFU required the Norwich Pharmacal order to facilitate its crackdown on the resale of tickets or the sale of tickets at above face value.
