Jersey’s finance industry is being consulted on the impact on Jersey financial institutions (FIs) should the states of Jersey enter into a ‘FATCA-type’ agreement with the UK government, whether this should include a disclosure facility and if other options should be explored. This follows the announcement of the Isle of Man Disclosure Facility on 19 February.
