Interview with Miodrag Vujovic, director of the Competition Agency in Montenegro
On 8 October 2012, Montenegro adopted a new competition law. Karanovic & Nikolic has interviewed the director of the Competition Agency, Miodrag Vujovic, about the law.
“The Competition Agency was only established in February 2013, in line with the provisions of the new Competition Law. As for the Competition Administration (KN note: the competition authority which is the predecessor to the Competition Agency), its work had previously been evaluated by the Montenegrin Government, as well as the European Commission. I believe that with each passing year, we have improved the quality of our work, as well as helped enhance the regulatory framework necessary for a functional free market…”
