First bundle of amendments to the Russian Civil Code is adopted
On 18 December 2012, the draft Federal Law on Amendments to Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Part One of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation had its third reading in the Russian State Duma. On 26 December 2012, it was further approved by the Federation Council. To come into effect, the draft law must be signed into law by the President of Russia.
