EU strengthens sanctions against Iran and Syria
On 15 October 2012, the Council of the European Union (EU Council) adopted new sanctions against Iran and Syria. These measures were published on 16 October 2012. In parallel, on 15 October 2012, the EU Council extended the application of the EU sanctions against Belarus until 31 October 2012.
