Latham & Watkins has continued the aggressive expansion of its technology practice by poaching Cooley Godward partner and outsourcing head Dan Mummery.
Mummery will join Latham’s Silicon Valley office as a partner. He is the firm’s fourth partner hire into its global outsourcing and technology transactions group within the last year following in the footsteps of Allen Klein, Robert Hasty and Andrew Moyle.
Prior to joining Cooley’s Palo Alto office in 2001, Mummery was a partner in the New York office of Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy, where he led Milbank’s global technology transactions group.
Mummery has worked on a string of outsourcing transactions including deals for AT&T, BellSouth, British Telecommunications, ChevronTexaco, DuPont, General Motors and United Airlines.
